This was a model for the Tigers at Nassau Hall at Princeton University. In 1909, the first bronze of a numbered edition series was presented to Princeton by Woodrow Wilson, then Princeton president, and his class, the class of 1879. The Gorham Co. Founders cast the numbered edition of these bronzes for exclusive sales to Princeton alumni and students. A larger version of this bronze is also available in a limited edition.
