BUFFALO HUNT BAS-RELIEF 1916 9"h x 17"w x 1"d unlimited edition $685
This relief shows Proctor's first vision of his popular three-dimensional small bronze Indian Pursuing Buffalo or as it was called later the Buffalo Hunt. Jackson Sundown, nephew to Chief Joseph of the Nez Perce tribe, was the model. Proctor modeled the horse, Buffalo and Sundown in 1916 at the Pendelton Roundup. Sundown, at age 50, won overall championship of the roundup that year.
