The original vision of the study for the three-dimensional Big Beaver statue. This plaster sketch was displayed at the Gorham Sales Room in New York City in an exhibition of bronze and plaster models, October 6-25, 1913. Edition numbers one through eighteen are reserved for, and included with, the first eighteen sales of the three-dimensional bronze. Identifying marks: trademark coin (underside).
